Wallace Historic Homestead Location

Wallace Historic Homestead is conveniently located on the Warburton Highway, 8 kilometers past the township of Lilydale, and set amidst the vineyards of Wild Cattle Creek.

From Melbourne

Driving east towards the Dandenong Ranges, the most common route is Maroondah Hwy to the Township of Lilydale. The Warburton Hwy starts about 2 kilometers past Lilydale, and the turn off is well sign posted. Proceed along the Warburton Hwy through Wandin, and Wallace Historic Homestead is located on the corner of Warburton Hwy and Wallace Road, just past Wild Cattle Creek Vineyard and Winery at the top of the hill.

From Melbourne Airport

The Tullamarine Fwy will take you straight into the city of Melbourne. We suggest that you take the Flemington Road exit and follow the signs to the Eastern Freeway. At the end of the Eastern Freeway turn right on to Springvale Road and then left on to Maroondah Highway. Follow the Maroondah Highway to the Township of Lilydale, then follow the directions above.
